It's been asked which is your favorite book...Now which is your favorite character? Does your favorite character differ from the books to the movies?

My favorite is Hermione. I know that she's a smart-aleck, but she makes me laugh!

Go to JK Rowlings site ( www.jkrowling.com ) and go to the door. You have to figure out a little puzzle to get in, then another little puzzle to find out the title, but it's SO WORTH IT!

Goblet of Fire movie

Wondering if ya'll have any thoughts on the most recent movie?

I missed Dobby and Winky for sure.

The scene in the graveyard was great.

Miranda Richardson was fabulous.

I didn't like the way Barty Crouch was played.

But there were some big editing gaffs, and overall, it was OK, but not nearly as great as the book.

finished reading - spoilers

Okay, this was one of the best books of them all. I couldn't believe the first 20 pages when it was shown that Snape was still working with Voldemort. I was floored from that point on.

I cried of course at the end of the book. It was very upsetting. Did he impart enough knowledge on Harry to get through his next tasks? I hope so.

Do you think that they will be returning to HOgwarts next year or is the book seven going to take place just in the world?

I loved Draco couldn't complete his task and that it was actually Snape that did it. God was it good.

Anyhow, would love to other thoughts.

Also loved how the Weasley twins products were used for good and evil.

Will Bill be a full blown vampire or just partially? I don't think I can wait 3 years for Book Seven.

Ok gang just for fun lets say there is a book 8, 10 years after the gang leaves Hogwarts, what do you see in it.

1.Hermonie and Ron are now marreid and have six kids
2.Harry is now the Minister of Magic.
3.Harry and Ginny are dating.
4. The twins are flithy rich from they joke store and have moved the HighGrove in London.
5.Pursey is teaching at Hogwarts now, after harry fires him.
6.Hrrys cousin is in jail for murdering a chef who refused to feed him.

How is everybody doing?
I became a Harry Potter fan after I saw the first movie. The only reason why I watched the movie, is that my sister put the movie in, while I was visited.
I'm not much into reading. So I rely on the movies to give a idea what the book is about. I know the movies leave things out.
I can read, but when comes to books I can not keep focus long enough to finish a book.

Ok gang have any of you heard what is going on with the new Hanabal Lector movie? I heard that Daniel was offered the lead role as the young Hanabal when he was just a teen during WW2 and was in Germany and watched as the nazi's killed and ate his sister.

Gaiman on Potter slash

No really this is on topic.

I attended a Neil Gaiman talk this evening. He mentioned that when he was in Frankfurt last month he had breakfast with his editor there. This editor also happens to be Rowling's editor. He then went on to tell us that he spent a good portion of their conversation explaining HP fanfic to this editor.

Thought one or two folks might find that amusing.
